There's been a recent trend of people eating raw foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and nuts. But is this diet suitable for everyone? "People follow raw food diets for different reasons," 

 "Many are trying to 'clean' out their eating habits, which is a great thing. Others are trying to decrease disease risk." We suggest that people who are interested in following a raw food diet should start slow, by eating 50 percent raw foods. It's also important to get variety and eat foods of different colors.
